Renowned Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and Tony Award nominee BRANFORD MARSALIS is one of the most revered instrumentalists of his time. Branford gained critical acclaim through his work with jazz giants Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and Sonny Rollins before becoming a household name as Musical Director of the Tonight Show starring Jay Leno. The Branford Marsalis Quartet, formed in 1986, remains his primary means of expression. In it's virtually uninterrupted three-plus decades of existence, the Quartet has established a rare breadth of stylistic range as demonstrated on the band’s latest release.
