This fourth concert of the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival is VIVA CAL! - a tribute to the great Latin jazz artists Cal Tjader! This sextet features 17-year old vibraphonist Cole Hazlitt, Frankie Pineiro (congas), Hector Mayoral (perc. 7 vocals), Richard Drexler (piano), Joe Porter (bass) & John Jenkins (drums). This program crosses back & forth between the worlds of Latin jazz & mainstream bop and is not to be missed!
