Jazz Appreciation Month just got a lot jazzier in Syracuse! Jazz Central hosts a return engagement by Chico Freeman and his quartet, performing at 7:30 pm on Saturday April 8th. The saxophonist, composer, and producer is a veteran of the bands of Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Charles Mingus, Wynton Marsalis, and countless others and is recognized as one of the most important jazz musicians of our time.
