The Effect is a jazzfusion side project consisting of Henrik Linder (bass) of Dirty Loops fame, alongside guns for hire Jonathan Lundberg (drums) and Carl Mörner Ringström (guitar).

A dynamic interplay and high output are the utmost importance to the trio’s sound, which stretches from big rubato landscapes of beautiful melancholy harmonies to rhythmically terrifying groove laden interludes.

Carl Mörner Ringström is a freelance musician, now residing in Stockholm with previous stints in Copenhagen and New York. Graduated Candidatus Musicae from Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and has played on numerous big stages around the world. A nominee for BMW World Jazz Award 2015....

Henrik Linder is a bas splayer known from the YouTube sensation Dirty Loops. Dirty Loops has toured the world with David Foster and Friends and Maroon 5, Avicii etc. Henrik also play's with GEM, Eldar Djangirov and Matt Garstka (Animals as Leaders). Another notch in the belt is the Bassplayer Live, Young Gun Award that he won in 2014. But most of all, Henrik is always nice to animals!

Jonathan Lundberg is a drummer in Stockholm, freelancing in different bands/projects on a national and international level. Also being a bandleader, released 2 solo albums, the latter through Universal Music in Japan which featured musicians like David Garfield, Derek Sherinian, Hadrien Feraud etc. In 2004, Jonathan won the Carlos Vega Memorial Drum Off competition at Musicians Institute, Hollywood.
