The group is headed by percussionist and host of WSLR 96.5 FM Sarasota The Afro Cuban Jazz Edition, Frankie Pineiro, with band members that include Kenny Drew Jr. (Piano), Jeff Rupert, John Jenkins (Drums), and Mauricio Rodriguez (Bass). Anyone who knows this ensemble, knows that their performances sizzle with strong Afro-Cuban influences in the spirit of Tito Puente.
