22nd year of the "Child of the Sun" Jazz festival, founded by Nat Adderley and Larry Burke in 1988. Outdoor festival named for the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture at Florida Southern College. Free event now sponsored by the Lakeland Rotary club as a benefit for local charities. One of the most beautiful settings in the world for a jazz concert.
