Presented by the Tampa Jazz Club, O Som Do Jazz (the sound of jazz in Portuguese) recaptures the grace, energy and spirit of 1960s Brazilian music! This sextet features Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and a crew of experienced musicians performing Brazilian jazz, Bossa Nova, samba-jazz, Balanço and MPB.

The great Brazilian songbook of Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Edu Lobo, Baden Powell and more are featured in this very special concert. Andrea sings these favorites in Portuguese and English supported by great area jazz musicians (David Cubillos, Austin Vickrey, Alejandro Arenas, Mark Feinman, David Manson) who love and respect Brazilian music!
