Tommy Gannon began playing piano at age 5 . He is a graduate of the University of Miami where he attended on a trumpet scholarship. He played trumpet with the Ft. Lauderdale Symphony and was organist and music director on a children'sTV show in Miami for 6 years.He has performed on piano with some of the best known personalities of the entertainment world, including Bob Hope , Steve Allen, Henry Mancini, and Frank Sinatra. Tommy moved to San diego in 1984 and has been performing here ever since. His favorite jazz pianist is Bill Evans- Gannon has a piano/bass/drums trio dedicated to his music.
