June 13 at Shibuya Body and Soul, in Tokyo….a straight-ahead, standard jazz night featuring some of Tokyo’s best: Gene Jackson (of Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter groups), Kengo Nakamura (of Wynton Marsalis groups), and young piano phenom Dennis Lambert. Jim Butler (me) on saxophones.
These guys are tops in Tokyo!….so I’m really looking forward to sharing this great American standard jazz music with you all!
It’s kind of far off, but if you want good seats, I recommend making reservations pretty soon.
