Amanda Tosoff and Jodi Proznick will be co-leading this workshop to explore how to get started with jazz composition! The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the basic concepts of jazz composition and how to go about different creativity provocations open up creative compositional play. Through a variety ofgames and exercises, Amanda and Jodiwill cover important concepts for developing composition skills such as using basic blues and AABA forms, contrafacts and ostinatos.
