Brownman+1 Series feat. Dave Restivo at TD Toronto Jazz Festival at Musideum

Multi-award-winning jazz trumpet player BROWNMAN ALI, best known for his creatively bombastic & energized playing style, strips down to a bare bones configuration for the Musideum "+1" series, now in it's second year.

This Saturday's intimate jazz festival duet show will feature 5-time National Jazz Award winner for "jazz piano player of the year" DAVE RESTIVO.

Both these artists represent 2 different generations of top-shelf jazz improvisers in the city, both sharing a penchant for hard-swinging music and creative improvising.

The BROWNMAN+1 series continues throughout the year at Musideum, each month Brown appearing with 1 other mystery musician -- could be piano, could be bass, could even turntables - who knows!
