Galaxie award nominee, Andrea Superstein can best be described as: Quirky. Indie. Jazz. Born and raised in Montreal and now residing in Vancouver, she is heavily influenced by the rich tradition of the East and the thriving indie scene of the West. She masterfully blends elements of traditional jazz combined with a contemporary feel and electronic bits, making for a unique musical experience. Superstein creates music with nostalgic undertones, yet still compellingly new, all the while reeling us in with her charming stories and witty banter. Think Tom Waits meets Portishead meet Zooey Deschanel. This digital release will showcase some of Superstein’s new FACTOR funded work which is slated for a full release in late spring.
