Toronto legendary free-improv. group comprised of vocalist Paul Dutton, saxophonist John Oswald (Plunderphonics), pianist Michael Snow and percussionist John Kamevaar, take free improv. in a direction that's totally their own. Paul Dutton's "soundsinging" mutant vocals are a force on their own, mixing them with saxophone squeaks & bursts, over Snow's alien synth tones, a totally new dialogue is born. Not to mention the recent addition of Kamevaar's percussive prowess and electronic textures, creating a disjointed backbone for such a surreal conversation. After breaking free-improv. ground over 30 years ago, CCMC are still just as fresh & relevant.

Yet another mutation in Toronto's premiere bastard chamber dream ensemble, this configuration featuring cellist/dreamer Cory Latkovich, guitarist Sebastian Shinwell and saxophonist Karen Ng. Hauntingly angular, drivingly repetitive structures, unleashed with articulated fury. Music for the modern neurotic.
