Best known for his work as a top shelf session trombone player -- having appeared everyone from the NOJO big band to salsa band CACHE -- Don Laws is also a highly regarded vocalist of the Bobby McFerrin ilk of modern jazz singing. His quintet features some of the most acclaimed jazz musicians in the city and explores a wide range of jazz styles from swing to funk to Latin.
