Emily Steinwall is a saxophonist from Toronto, Ontario. She is currently in her second year in Humber College’s Bachelor of Music program. Emily plays around the city in many various groups as both a leader and side-man. While in High school, Emily was a member of the Jazz FM Youth Big Band from 2011-2013, as well Humber College’s Community School, Summer Workshop and Honour Combo Programs. In 2013 Emily was selected to be a member of the National Youth Jazz Combo at Musicfest Canada. She has had the opportunity to study with many of Canada’s finest musicians, including Kirk Macdonald, Lorne Lofsky and Alex Dean.
