In addition to his very active performing and recording schedule, Gene Bertoncini ("the Segovia of jazz") teaches at the Eastman School of Music and William Patterson University. Mr. Bertoncini recently released a book and CD under the Hal Leonard banner, called, “Gene Bertoncini Plays Jazz Standards.” The book features 10 of Mr. Bertoncini’s arrangements and is part of the Hal Leonard Solo Guitar Library series. Chalkers is thrilled to join FingerStyleGuitar in welcoming Mr. Bertoncini to Toronto and Chalkers intimate dining lounge.
