On the evening of Friday, February 1st, 2013, Toronto jazz lovers will be treated to the return of one of Canada's foremost jazz ensembles, "THE HEILLIG MANOEUVRE". Following a seven year self-imposed intermission, bassist, composer, arranger and group founder, Henry Heillig has recently re-formed his popular quartet (with some exceptional new additions!) and is releasing their new, independent CD, 'TOONS. The current "HEILLIG MANOEUVRE" includes Stacie McGregor on piano, Henry Heillig on bass, Charlie Cooley on drums and Alison Young on saxophone. The Launch Event is taking place at "The Paintbox Bistro" - an intimate venue located in Toronto's newest and most impressive arts education and performance space - The Regent Park Centre for The Performing Arts, located at 585 Dundas St., East (www.regentparksarts.ca)....
