Japanese jazz composer and pianist Hiromi is one of the most inventive and awe-inspiring pianists in jazz today. Known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances and blend of musical genres, her music has been called "part classical, part jazz and part simply unclassifiable" (David Was/NPR).
