Jim Clayton has been called “the new Vince Guaraldi.” Downbeat Magazine gave 3½ stars to his latest album, Songs My Daughter Knows; the album features Bill Summers (of Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters) and drummer Jason Marsalis, and landed in the top 30 at U.S. jazz radio.
