Throughout the 20th century, Jewish musicians have had a hand in writing some of the most celebrated and powerful anthems of social justice, sung the world over. Join JAZZ.FM91’s David Wall with guests, including Dione Taylor and Richard Underhill, as they explore this rich legacy. The evening will include deeply moving songs like Strange Fruit as well as funnier fare, like Malvina Reynolds’ witty and provocative Little Boxes, performed as a jazz standard.
