The Victor Monsivais Quartet, will be doing a tribute to Joao Gilberto, the creator of Bossa Nova, in his 84th birthday.
This evening, TVMQ will draw from Joao's extensive songbook and will cover the entire set of the legendary recording Gilberto-Getz. Several talented local musicians will be sitting in with the band to pay homage to Joao.
