Young Artist Sunday Brunch: Nick Arseneau Duo at Jazz Bistro

Nick Arseneau is a young up-and-coming jazz bassist, currently finishing his final year of jazz studies at York University. As both a talented performer and a high-achieving student, Nick was awarded the Mary Alice Stuart scholarship through JazzFM91 this past summer, and also performs regularly throughout Southern Ontario in a wide variety of groups from jazz to classical to rock and folk. Around Toronto, he is developing a reputation amongst his peers and is frequently on call for gigs. He has had the opportunity to study with Jim Vivian, one of Canada’s top bassists, and has also studied with instrumentalists Kelly Jefferson and Lorne Lofsky....
