“Folk singer-songwriter, Mori is carving out a space in the indie scene with lyric-forward storytelling that centers emotional honesty and human nuance. In her words, “I write because if I didn’t, I’d be constantly mourning explanations I didn’t get to give, and apologies I didn’t get to hear.” Her writing was modeled after Leith Ross, Lizzy McAlpine, Searows and Jensen McRae, while artists like Olivia Dean and Eloise shaped her broader musical sensibility, and ear for feeling-first production.
 
Matilde Heckler 
Raise Mozart on a farm, play him some midwest emo, and then douse him in glitter — he’ll come out making songs like Brooklyn-based violinist and singer/songwriter Matilde Heckler. With soaring orchestral arrangements, gut-wrenching verses, and an eccentric stage presence, Heckler takes relatability and versatility seriously.
