About Kat and Brad:
Drawing from 50s and 60s pop to American Songbook standards, this vibrant duo from Connecticut fuses their influences to create new original songs that sound like old Stax records. Kat & Brad is Kathleen Parks (Twisted Pine) on vocals and fiddle & Brad Bensko (Bearded Cat Productions) on vocals and guitar. When recording their 2018 LP, the two drew inspiration from their favorite 1950s recordings, making full use of the delightful vintage and analog recording equipment in their home studio. Life partners as well as musical partners, Kat & Brad bring a special chemistry and energy to their live performances. Having shared bills with Gordon Lightfoot, John Sebastian, and Sammy Rae & the Friends, Kat & Brad has spent the last several years performing at music venues across New England, always to enthusiastic audiences....
