Welcome to Bass Specialties, the first – and only – “bass specific” retail store in the Philadelphia area. Our mission is to provide Philly-area players access to a large selection of quality bass-related gear, as well as a cool place to hang out and play. Everyone knows that Philadelphia is a great music town, but more importantly, it's a great bass town - home to more “world class” bass players than any city on the planet! So here's a “Philly First” for you deserving folks – a retail store catering exclusively to you!

A guy like me gets into the business of selling basses for three main reasons: One and two are, of course, the love of the instrument and the desire to be around it all the time. Reason number three?
