The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame welcomes famed jazz pianist Brian Haas, star vocalist Annie Ellicott and Kansas City saxophonist Mark Southerland to the Jazz Depot stage in concert.
A progressive-leaning pianist who straddles the line between jazz, experimental, classical music, and rock, Brian Haas is best known for founding the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. Born in Tulsa in 1974, Haas was a gifted pianist in his youth who earned a full scholarship to the University of Tulsa for classical music, eventually switching to full-time jazz study.
Annie Ellicott is an interdisciplinary artist working to expand her role as a singer/songwriter through video production, stagecraft, and performance art. Annie has toured the United States as well as Europe, performing both traditional jazz and original compositions....

A Kansas City native, Mark Southerland has played locally, nationally, and throughout Europe for over ten years. His ongoing projects, involve a constantly changing cast of musicians and performers. Southerland recently finished residencies in both New Orleans and New York, performing with a range of international musicians. He is a natural collaborator with other musicians.

At the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, located in downtown Tulsa’s Jazz Depot, 111 E. First St., upper level. Tickets can be purchased at the depot, from www.JazzHallTickets.com, or by calling 918-928-JAZZ. General admission is $15, reserved table seating $20. Seniors and Jazz Hall members are admitted for $10, and high school and junior high students for $5. The event is a part of the Jazz Hall’s 2017-2018 Winter Concert Series.
