Anyone who has ever heard Tommy Crook play knows they are experiencing a one-of-a-kind talent. The guitarist is known as one of the most creative stylists of our time, not only for his expressive style, but for utilizing every angle a small group has to achieve big sound.

Inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in 2007, Crook is a master of fingerstyle guitar, playing with artists including J.J. Cale, Chet Atkins, Merle Haggard and Leon Russell. Dedicated to his craft, the guitar virtuoso replaces the lower two strings on his Gibson Switchmaster with bass strings, allowing him to create the impression of playing bass and guitar simultaneously....
