Five becomes six - this long established group has grown and this is their first performance with Mark Squires on piano.
These musicians often perform as the house band for the Blue Jazz Voices course at Sage Gateshead. Tonight they have the chance to stretch out and enjoy themselves with longer instrumental sets. They play straight-ahead mainstream jazz. That's what they like.
