The 31st Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival will take place at some 50 venues throughout the City from July 3rd to 12th. There will be around 140 performances, almost all of them free admission, playing to around 90,000 people. Known as the finest free jazz and blues party in Europe, it attracts music fans to Birmingham from all over the UK and from abroad. This year musicians will come to the City from Australia, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Romania, Sweden and the U.S.A as well as from this region and from the rest of the UK.
