Saxophonist John Altman’s musical career in the US and Britain spans everything from major film scores to TV commercials. He has worked with everyone from rock stars to singers and a cavalcade of premier American jazzmen. His party promises an eclectic mix of surprise guests from every corner of his musical activities.

This is one of a series of seven concerts over four weekends running from May to October organised by the National Jazz Archive to raise funds to support its work, and in particular the Heritage Lottery Fund project ‘The Story of British Jazz’.
