Nigel of Coalburns vocalises, plays a range of small instruments and percussion. His work is driven by rhythm and characterised by bold leaps of imagination.

Sean Cotterill is an exciting skilful electronic musician. Sean often improvises during performances from a pool of electronic musical material from an array of programmes. Sean is noted for driving rhythm combined with precise clarity of sound. Sean has recently given a series of performances using live coding and has recently played for OXJAM Newcastle/Gateshead takeover, NARC Magazine Present and Manchester Algorave.

Archipelago are a trio comprising of John Pope (Electric Bass), Christian Alderson (Drums) and Faye MacCalman (Saxophone/Clarinet). Archipelago explore the space between the fixed and the floating; honest, try-anything improvisation meets compositions inspired by jazz, punk rock and the avant-garde. This reeds-bass-drums trio kick up a sand storm of sonic possibilities, making music at the crux of what is learned and what is felt.
