Jazz artist Sarah Jane Morris is coming to the Westcoast Bar & Grill in Margate to perform a concert on her birthday, next 21st March, including the latest tracks from her album “Bloody rain”, released on the 15th November. Doors at 7.30pm, come and enjoy a Caribbean dinner beforehand: book at 01843 448 595.
Critically acclaimed, the album combines blues, jazz and “a rich range of African influences and rhythms” (The Daily Mirror) and is devoted to the people of Africa, touching on issues as child soldiers, honour killings, homophobia and power abuse.
The single “Men just want to have fun” will be released on March 17th and is currently available for pre-orders on iTunes; the video can be watched on YouTube (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix2ddUTAPuw). It will also be included in a limited edition red vinyl 7inch single with I Shall Be Released, out in occasion of National Record Store Day, April 25th....
