Saxophonist Jeremy Shoham at Mill Hill Jazz Club

Jeremy Shoham (alto and soprano sax) has played on the London jazz scene for the last 40 years working with long-time collaborators Neil Angilley, Rick Finlay and Phil Scragg. He's toured the UK and Europe for many years playing his unique take on jazz and world music. Over the past 10 years Jeremy has been running his own jazz club (Safari jazz and Chandos Arms Jazz) in North London forming the core of the house band for touring and invited guests.

The line up for MJC tonight will be Sean Hargreaves on piano , Rick Finlay on drums and Chris Dodd on bass. Jeremy promises to do a ‘desert island disc’ set of some of his favourite material from over the years...

The line up for MJC tonight will be Sean Hargreaves on piano , Rick Finlay on drums and Chris Dodd on bass. Jeremy promises to do a ‘desert island disc’ set of some of his favourite material from over the years. This will involve a fair bit of jazz funk/rock (compositions by Brecker, Sanborn, Bob Berg and Pat Metheny) as well as a few standards thrown in. Dexter Mosely (vocals) will also perform a couple of tracks from his soon to be released album which coincidentally has the same band line up.
