Part of a highly musical family (along with brothers Jimmy Heath and Percy Heath), 80 year old legendary drummer, Albert "Tootie" Heath, has graced some of the most esteemed recordings in jazz history. Mr. Heath's resume is impressive. He has recorded with John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, Nina Simone, Bobby Timmons, Yusef Lateef, Herbie Hancock, Milt Jackson, Wes Montgomery, Billy Taylor, Mal Waldron, Cedar Walton, J. J. Johnson, and countless others. Joining Heath are Randy Porter (piano) and Tom Wakeling (bass).
