Led by conductor/trumpeter John Korsrud and featuring a Who’s Who of leading Canadian jazz and New Music players, the legendary Hard Rubber Orchestra has been at the forefront of cutting-edge composition for over 20 years, producing operas, avant ice shows, multi-media productions and forward-thinking funk.

For this special performance, The Hard Rubber Orchestra will play the music of Korsrud, “a composer in the truest sense” (The Globe and Mail), as well as the world premiere of a new commissioned work by vanguard New York-based composer Darcy James Argue.
