Award-winning double-bassist Paul Rushka pays tribute to one of his formative influences, the great trumpeter/composer Kenny Wheeler in this new project featuring Jon Bentley (saxophones) and Tristan Paxton (guitar). Material is culled from Wheeler's nearly four-decade recording career. The simpatico between Rushka, Bently and Paxton is tangible; expect nuanced textures, fluid interaction and remarkable improvisations.
