Trombonist Steve Davis returns to celebrate his critically acclaimed release Say When- a tribute to Davis' hero, trombone icon, J.J. Johnson. Davis has established himself as one of the most accomplished and lyrical improvisers on his instrument as well as a prolific composer. The all-star sextet includes Eric Alexander (tenor sax), Joshua Bruneau (trumpet), Tony Foster (piano), Ken Lister (bass), Jesse Cahill (drums).
