Brian Mccarthy Quintet at Mccarthy Arts Center, Saint Michael's College

New England-based saxophonist Brian McCarthy will bring his stellar quintet to the Jazz at Saint Michael's College series during their fall tour. This special performance celebrates the success of his 2013 album, This Just In. With the band hitting the studio this coming year for a follow up album, they also plan to premiere some brand new material giving the audience a sneak peak of what is to come. Along with trumpet veteran Ray Vega, the quintet will feature Adam Birnbaum on piano, Evan Gregor on bass and Eric Doob on drums.
