Today, the VCM's highly respected and acclaimed faculty inspires over 1,200 students, as they learn an extensive variety of disciplines including piano, strings, brass, wind, voice, jazz, percussion, and composition and theory. And, through it's specialized Music Therapy program, the VCM provides the skillful use of music in enhancing the lives of those with specific needs.
The VCM is home to two fine performance halls, and proudly presents diverse and vibrant public performances ranging from classical to popular, early music to opera, and solo performances to theatre that the whole community can experience
