The SunTrust Big Lick Blues Festival is the newest member of the EventZone produced family of festivals held in downtown Roanoke. The SunTrust Big Lick Blues Festival replaces the Taste of The Blue Ridge Blues & Jazz Festival which was held for the past ten years on this same weekend. After much thought, the decision was made to take this festival in a new direction. We believe the first year of the SunTrust Big Lick Blues Festival will showcase world-class high energy blues entertainment and emphasize good eats, especially ribs! There will be more than plenty high-energy goings on, with all the musical entertainment and numerous food vendors offering delicious food tastings. Directions: The Big Lick Blue Festival is located in Elmwood Park in the heart of downtown Roanoke three blocks south of the historic farmers' market. Exit I-581(south) at Elm Avenue. Turn right onto Elm Avenue. Turn right at first traffic light onto Williamson Road. Elmwood Park is immediately on your left. Easy parking is available across the street from the park.
