Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewki is one of the most important and the most distinguished polish jazz artist - the eminent saxophonist, composer, conductor, journalist, a critic of music, master of ceremonies and educationalist. His debut was in 1956 in the legendary Komeda sextet and since then he led dozens of groups: Polish Jazz Quartet, Studia Jazzowe Polskiego Radia, Chałturnik, New Presentation, Grand Standard Orchestra, Made in Poland - these are not all of his projects. He traveled almost the whole world, from Calcutta to Los Angeles.
