The Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation proudly presents it’s newly formed flagship ensemble—the Capitol Hill Jazz Orchestra. This 16+ piece ensemble is led by its founder and alto saxophonist, Herb Scott. Our ensemble features the DMV’s most gifted Jazz musicians and is a diverse group ranging in age, race and gender. This evening’s music will include selections from Jazz greats like Count Basie, Thad Jones and Duke Ellington.
