The concert/lecturewill highlight America’s classical music, Jazz. This important art form was created and developed by African Americans. This, at times, less-than-honored yet influential art form defines the modern era of composition and is embraced and revered by all cultures worldwide. Presented will be new compositions in this genre. New composers have often had difficulty with the promotion of their music and being noticed by the public.
