Since August 2009, the DC Jazz Jam has been offering FREE jazz for both the audience and fellow musicians. There is no cover charge, and we hope to provide a space that is open and welcoming for fellow players.

We encourage you to be respectful of our hosts by ordering food and drink. We also appreciate tips for the house band.

If you are a jazz player, we would love to have you sit in with us for a few tunes — including horn players, singers, rhythm instruments, or others. Just come by during the jam session and let us know you’d like to join by signing the sheet and introducing yourself to the house band.
