Baltimore Blues In the Night: A Tribute to Johnny Mercer
Johnny Mercer is probably the greatest of all American lyricists. His more than fifteen hundred songs include “Moon River,” “That Old Black Magic,” and “Blues in the Night.” Arty Hill, along with chanteuse/actress Mink Stole and jazz diva Felicia Carter, sing Mercer’s hits. Jazz guitar master Michael Raitzyk leads the band: Alan Blackman (piano), Frank Russo (drums) with special guest upright bassist Amy Shook.
