About
Vocalist Christiana Drapkin returns to Blues Alley, Washington's premier Jazz club. With her longtime musical partner, guitarist Mike Gellar, bassist Tommy Cecil, and drummer Tony Martucci. Mike and Christiana have been honoring the Joe Pass - Ella Fitzgerald repertoire, delving into Duke Ellington tunes, and exploring the nooks and crannies of Jazz, from the Standards to Bebop to Bossa Nova, even Joni Mitchell and newer Standards.
TWO SHOWS: 8 p.m. AND 10 p.m.
$20 admission; $12 food/drink minimum per set
This evening is part of Blues Alley's 50th Anniversary Celebration, and it is co-sponsored by the DC-AFM Local 161-710 Musicians Union Local.
