Electric violinist David Schulman — as heard on NPR — is joined at this show by a master of the upright bass, Herman Burney. Herman has toured and made a Grammy-nominated record with singer Freddy Cole (brother of Nat), and also toured for years with one of the most distinctive contemporary jazz singers, Rene Marie.
