Dupont Underground Presents Its Jazz Ambassador, Changamire, In Concert at Dupont Underground

A recipient of the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ Artist Fellowship, Changamiré released her second album, Love, in 2014 and will perform at Dupont Underground with an extraordinary ensemble of musicians that has accompanied her since 2007 – Count Basie alum, Lincoln Ross, on trombone and as Music Director; the brilliant Clifton Brockington on piano; bluesy BT Richardson on bass; drummer to the stars, Steve Walker; and the incomparable Donvonte McCoy on trumpet.

The Smithsonian's 2019 Jazz Appreciation Month poster will be given to the first 20 ticket buyers. The "After Lounge" follows the concert at Doyle Bar.
