The Forward Jazz Collective hosts an open jazz composer's jam session at HR-57 on the first Monday of each month. The session is open to all jazz composers, instrumental and vocal. Composers are asked to bring 5 copies of a 1 to 2-page lead sheet of their original tune. The tune will be sight-read and performed by any combination of the musician/composers sitting in, along with members of the Collective.
