Join award-winning composer/pianist Lisa K. Hilton along with Rudy Royson (drums), Luques Curtis (bass), and JD Allen (tenor sax) as they debut new compositions from Hilton’s 20th release, ESCAPISM. The Quartet swings through her compositions, inspired by great American composers such as Miles Davis, Count Basie and Horace Silver, that explore the soundscape of jazz and blues alongside classical and modernist ideas. ESCAPISM follows Hilton’s musical explorations to savor uplifting moments and abundant beauty in refreshing ways.
